OVERDRIVE: Synthwave in Cambridge

"Overdrive is a Boston and Cambridge-based synthwave/electropop/retrowave club night. Our current residency is the 2nd Saturday of each month at Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge."

The Djs are Dj Voltans (John Teng) & DJ James 808 (James Meinhold) . Incidentally haveing a chat with DJ James 808, I learned he used to spin regularly at the very first club I'd ever been to as a teenager - THE BANK - the legendary goth fixture formerly in the LES NYC.

The Middle East Upstairs is one of several dancefloors in the venue - it's cozy, but plenty of room to dance and the crowd is always friendly at these.
