Psychic Limb

Psychic Limb has always been lighting up the blog-o-sphere with every step they make. Critics gushed about their incredible live appearances, and in praise of their debut and only LP, entitled Queens... (for example, I seem to recall Brooklyn Vegan mentioning them quite a bit)

They play blazingly fast hardcore/powerviolence, in the vein of the first Nails album, Gaza, (now defunct) Column of Heaven, Rotten Sound, etc.  While they are not breaking any new ground in the innovation department, they are air tight at what they do, especially with the drumming. I have already mentioned that I particularly appreciate percussive prowess in my fellow hardcore skinsmen.

Despite the overwhelmingly positive responses, the band has been shrouded in mystery since their inception, due to almost no presence on the web. Seemingly dormant since late 2011, they have recently appeared again, via a live show at Brooklyn's St. Vitus Bar...

Here's the older footage as well:

I tried to order their record through Clairvoyant, however it was never sent...  The best bet if you want to cop this would be via Discogs marketplace. I sincerely hope the band's planning to play out much more.

If anyone close to the band stumbles upon this post and would like to fill us in in regards to the official store, current activity, pseudo-hiatus, etc, please do!
