ALTERED BOYS are a hardcore band from New Brunswick, NJ. Bassist Jeff Guerriero was formerly the singer of another great NJ band, BLACK KITES. They have a demo tape out, two 7 inch EPs, and now a new cassette single "Left Behind b/w Choosing Sides." You can purchase it here for $3.50.
I am loving the straight punk attitude of Left Behind, and the shred-laden Choosing Sides. I would strongly recommend this band for fans of Tear It Up, Creem, Ugly Parts, Kill Your Idols, & The Boston Strangler. Furthermore, I can confidently say that they are one of the best current NJ band playing HC/punk!
